Good planning includes the involvement of the community as a key partner. Armow Wind established a Community Liaison Committee (CLC) to discuss the important aspects of construction, installation, use, operation, maintenance and retirement of the Armow Wind Project.

This committee was a requirement of Armow Wind's Renewable Energy Approval (REA) and served as a forum to share ideas, express concerns and to provide the community with ongoing updates about the Project. An independent, third-party facilitator from AECOM was retained to facilitate the Armow Wind Project Community Liaison Committee meetings.

The Armow Wind Project CLC met four times over a two year period. Committee members were encouraged to share information the resulted from all CLC discussions with other interested community members. Every meeting was open to the public.
